Happy Thanksgiving It Was!

I had a very awesome Thanksgiving at home with Andy! I cooked up a ham from Andys Grandpa, made a homemade apple pie, and lots of other goodies. Grams brought over her yummy noodles, Mom made her famous develed eggs, Andys grandpa brought pecan pie and Andys Dad fried us up a turkey! We had plenty of yummy food, and a nice relaxing time.

The kiddos went to there dads for the weekend, so we enjoyed a munckin free weekend. We had a couple date nights, did some home improvment, and went shooting! I havent shot a gun in over ten years, took me a few rounds for my mad skillz to return, then I was doing good, and even got a bullseye WOOT!

Happy Birthday Kaiden!

Kaiden Nathaniel Baker is officially 8 years old today! Its hard to believe that he is not my little boy anymore....he is what I like to call him a little dude now :) He is not your average boy, Kaiden has always kind of done his own thing. He is usually laid back, quiet, observer most of the time....but now and then this little crazy version of him comes out. He is not into sports, Cars, or your typical boy stuff...he is all about Animals, bugs, reptiles etc. I believe he will grow up to work with animals in some fashion. Right now he loves watching Animal planets...Hillbilly fishing and swamp wars. I think he is starting to figure out who he is, he has a few more opinions these days. Like he doesn't want his hair cut, and I am not allowed to stile it or spike it up....I am still allowed to pick out his outfits though. He is very smart, but I think he has my issues with paying attention and learning...hopefully I can help him figure it all out sooner than it took me so his school years get easier for him.

This picture is from the birthday outing this weekend, Andy and I took Kaiden and Rhiley (who's birthday is in a few weeks) to Medieval Times in Schaumburg IL. I had free passes from the manager that I had met from my previous job. It was a great time, both the kiddos loved the whole thing...and us grown ups loved it to! Its a great show, I recommend it for sure...its a bit pricey though so something you def have to plan for.

Happy Birthday to my little dude!

Please expect allot of random posts....weather it be about my monkeys, my cray world, new recipes, an ant on the side walk, or a crazy ninja running through my living room....Never expect to read the same thing, or assume you know what I will post next! So please stay tuned and I hope you enjoy whatever odd thing I decide to blab about, and if not then stop reading :)
